LENE HALD

A piece of jewellery is such a small being, so limited in its body, in its placement on the person wearing it.

And yet it is such an important being. And though its physical body might not be overwhelming, it demands attention. Not only from its wearer, but from the people around it.

A little piece of unnecessary necessity.

Unnecessary because it is only finery.

Necessary because its telling stories about the wearer, the surroundings and the time it moves in.

This challenge I cannot resist.
